In "Bachelorette,"Tori celebrates the freedom of the bachelorettes, independent and playful and tries to comfort them by telling them the man of their life will eventually come their way and to remain proud. The line "the things you do girls to your bachelorettes" seems to allude to the fact being a single woman is not something that is valued or well accepted by women in our society. Tori, who was about to get married at the time she recorded this track, instead cheers them by praising their glee and lifestyle. We could also argue that Tori talks to the bachelorette she was a few years ago. Indeed, the line "you’ll go to Paris on your own/there’s nothing like it in the world" is clearly a personal reference since she told an interviewer a few years ago that in the 90s, she took a plane on her own to eat and do some shopping in Paris before meeting a lover.
